All you really have to do is read their app reviews & you will not bet w/them. Wish I had. Anyway. Here’s what happened to me. 300% bonus on $100. I would have never done it if I read the fine print. They don’t inform you that you’re getting close & will lose all your winnings. Still unresolved after reporting to Pa gambling Commission over 2 months ago.
The promotion reads that you have 1 month to complete the bonus or you lose it. The Pa. Gambling Commission told me they were trying to get players in online casino, not Sportsbook. Thus, the lower amount of turns for casino. For the sportsbook, I’d have had to play $30K in 1 month, 99 turns of $300. I didn’t, but I WON $1500 over the month. Unibet said I lost the bonus + all my winnings!
1. I don’t see that in the promotion. #2 I feel that’s unethical. Keep my bonus, but I won $1500 fair & square. + it wasn’t like I made 1 bet of $1500, won, & tried to withdraw. I placed hundreds of bets for ~$10k over the month. In fact, I do bet > $30k in a month, but not all at 1 book.

I called Unibet and the guy told me that the promotion was only for casino and I should have seen that. Obviously it’s not, so I contacted the Pa. Gambling Commission. He said they’ve had a lot of complaints about bonuses, esp w/ Unibet. I told him to have them model after DraftKings, which are fair & clear. He’s called me twice to keep me updated, and I told him to read the reviews of their app. I called him on 1/28/21. It’s 3/31/21 with no resolution. I told him that I hope he sticks up for the little guy. Also, he’d have a lot more complaints, but my guess is that most bettors lose their stake over the 30days & have nothing to complain about....NOT ME!

Unibet emailed me and said they had no record of my call, and asked what # did I use? Uh, the phone # on your website. 2 weeks later after another call to the Gambling Commission, Unibet emailed me an offer of $50. I declined and said that I want my $1500, or I’d see them in court.

Their Unibet Pa app rating is 2.2. More than half the ratings are 1, with many saying they’d give zero if they could. I suspect the 5’s are plants, but doesn’t matter.

I had a similar issue after signing up in March for the $500 one-time Bonus Bet promotion. I bet $500 on my first wager w/ unit bet and won. After 30 days, I had won over $2,100 betting their sports book. Yet, when I looked at my account, it only showed $500 (my initial deposit). Reading through Unibets T&C they state:
Per Section 8 of Unibets rules:
Players who receive a bonus refund on their first cash bet must wager the bonus amount (the “Wagering Requirement”) 1X on any sports market or 20x on casino. Players have 30 days to satisfy the Wagering Requirements from the day the bonus funds are awarded. Failing to do so will result in the expiration and any remaining bonus amount.”

Since I won my first bet, I never received a bonus refund. All the money I bet was MY MONEY. Moreover, even if I had lost, I certainly satisfied the 1X sports market play through. The issue is that Unibet had applied my "bonus" to the Casino, which I never played! The key email, I sent to get my money is shown below:

"You stated I claimed a “first deposit match for up to $500 in bonus funds”. However, the promotion was advertised as “$500 First-Bonus Bet for new players”, and when I signed up, I selected “SPORTS OFFER | $40 Bonus Bets plus $500 First Bonus Bet” in the bonus section per the terms and conditions of Section 3. Eligibility. I never requested a “Casino Deposit Bonus” as shown below.

Eligibility: In order to be eligible for this promotion, the player must be 21 years or older and physically be in the state of Pennsylvania. Must be a player’s first cash bet over $10 to be eligible. You must have registered for and obtained a valid and verified Unibet real-money account. When registering, players must select the “SPORTS OFFER | $40 Bonus Bets plus $500 First Bonus Bet” offer in the ‘Select your bonus’ section. Players that are awarded a bonus for the First-Bonus Bet refund, will not be eligible for the 100% Casino Match Deposit.

Additionally I followed and met all your terms and conditions; 5. Claiming Promotion Offer, 6. Registration Procedures, and 7. Limitations on Participation.
As previously stated with regards to Section 8. Wagering Requirements/Exclusions, Players who receive a bonus refund on their first cash bet must wager the bonus amount (the “Wagering Requirement”) 1X on any sports market or 20x on casino. Players have 30 days to satisfy the Wagering Requirements from the day the bonus funds are awarded. Failing to do so will result in the expiration and any remaining bonus amount.”

I never received a bonus refund, because I won my first bet, and I fulfilled Wagering Requirement requirement by wagering $500 1X on any sport, with $500 being my initial deposit. Again, I did not sign up for the casino bonus, which would have required a 20X play through. I do not know why Unibet credited my account with $500 Casino Bonus Deposit as shown below. In accordance with the terms and conditions, my first bet was a SPORTS BET for $500.

You state that, “the bonus expired prior to the play through being met or all of the funds being lost”. Yes, the funds from the Casino Bonus were not lost, because I never played any casino games. As shown below you deducted my $500 deposit, and $500 debit bonus; which are both linked to the “Casino deposit bonus funds” which I never used. However it does not explain why you would deduct the money I won WITHOUT ANY BONUS FROM UNIBET. I deposited $500, I never requested a withdraw, I never made additional deposits. The $2,169.54 was all won on my initial $500 deposit.

You state I signed up for a deposit match, yet your promotion was for a one time First Bonus Bet, which is clearly my intention, given the first bet I made was $500. This is further backed up by the fact that my bets ranged from $180 to $225, aside from one $500 bet on Baylor in the championship game. As you can see from my profile, I do not bet $500 per game. Additionally, my profile shows I do not play casino games.

I’m requesting that the $2,169.54 I won betting sports be credited to my account immediately."

Bottom Line: Requesting that they view my profile, proved I was correct. They agreed they screwed up, and said if I played the amount I won 1X through, I would be credited the money I won. Try negotiating the 1X play through on you balance, but BEWARE!! Once I got them to credit my money back, I also alerted them to my profile, which led to the following occurring more often than not when I attempted to bet the $2,169.54 I had won:
9k=

Not only were they rejecting $225 major market bets (previous limit was $500), they would chop my props down to $20 (previously I was able to get $225 to $300 down on props). I eventually got enough down to recoup my winnings, and then some, but as soon as I was eligible for withdraw, I did so immediately.

Takeaway:
I'm not a large player. I play nickels and dimes. I thought by reducing my wager size, I would have no issues. I was wrong. Once profiled, the days of getting down $225 to $300 on player props was gone. I never even attempted to bet over $225 once profiled, and that still failed. The whole bonus bullshit, led to my inability to keep Unibet as an out. When I started there, my goal was to keep the account for 3-6 months, as they provided little no value. However, when I went back and looked at my transactions, I realized, I never would have lasted more than 3 months. I was hitting them with player props, placing same game middles (I would bet their openers and buy back later), and not giving them enough large market action to properly cover myself. Part of the difficulty in keeping accounts at these retail shops, is that you can't deposit enough to cover (and not draw attention). Once you do draw attention, you can't get down a bet without it being sent "for confirmation".

If you are a smaller player, you can keep the retail shops for a decent amount of time, if you bet the major markets for a good 3 to 5 months, before hitting them with any type of derivative bets, or any other positive EV plays. If you can consistently get the best of the number, and be okay betting smaller amounts to build up the profile, I think you will last longer, once you start laying in the positive EV plays.
